Crooked
A crooked in the walk,
Shakes pulse in a hand.
Twisted fingers in lock,
Eye lids flick, eyes bland.
Blood bubbles in tunnels,
Bone and sinew dried tight.
Nerves splayed in bundles,
Skin fever Sorrow’s blight.
Apparition cowers in shell,
Display for Sanity’s world.
Pulling ashes from Joy’s well,
All the while in dark curled.

Mechanism
Mechanism
Demon’s talon clamps this heart
Ichor infused into joyous blood
Vigor devoted to morbid intent
Frigid palm drips Sorrow’s mud
Head down, burdened by day
Eyes emptied of night’s current
Mechanism winds through the play
Discourse to be shunned he’s learnt
Gentle insistence in step after step
Reconnection in the will to live
Demonic sneer followed by grip
Any joy gleaned during day to give

The Dark - Haiku
The Dark – Haiku
The Dark recesses
Give shade upon shame and fear
The comfort to thrive
