Ancient Light
An ancient light brings wishes,
casting spells color the seas.
Small waves curl little kisses,
shy sands are blushing beauties.
The fading fire in the night,
is the moon melting with dreams.
Dawn rests naked in sun's light,
tanning her with subdued themes.

Riddle - A Muse
I can be ignored with a frown,
not shunned nor shouted down.
Brought to my shaking knees,
with yearning midnight pleas.
Left out desperate in the rain,
steeping in my boiling pain.
Leashed and I cry for release,
and choke until my sobs cease.
Too strong to succumb to abuse,
I'm lore's all encompassing muse.
Commit murder to me some more,
yet still you'll crawl across my floor.
I'm emotions noblest pinnacle,
when you are jaded I am simple.
Chastise me with punishing whys,
then see warm hope soften my eyes.
Whether crying,
or sighing,
What am I?

honor and kindness
are making no promises
with lies and blindness

Just the Once
Moments labeled fresh,
run rutted worn circuits.
Pages are again printed,
on papers reconverted.
My false new beginnings,
find remains unenthused.
I was new just the once,
and now repetitive news.
Time carries false marks,
and ages before it's said.
To begin again allover,
I'd require an honest end.
