Suffering becomes
A chronicle
Dripping from
Time’s monocle
Days riddled
By many holes
In perpendicular
To the poles
Evenings emerge
And offer toiling
Rest won’t care
If bodywork is boiling
Reposing crooked
Partially in bed
Floor is not there
It is me instead
