Regret -
To Break it all
Own sorrow’s gall
Rage in mind’s eye
Grasping fingers cry
Damage not a soul
Interior pays the toll
Hack, strike, inhale havoc
Unmyself, more atavic
Tear open silent sky
Dry muscle ticking high
In bloodless breathing
Stillness unsheathing
Recovery recalls doom
Felt keenly in this tomb
Fury, horrid regret
Joy paid in the debt
Purifying Moon’s light
Gaze at myself, a sight
Tatters and dusty garb
Unlife’s cold, witty regard
Arisen in nocturnal hour
In uncontrollable power
Restful bonds have slipped
Contained by Eternity’s crypt
Piece of soul still alive
Escaping a saving dive
Rewarded with all torment
Despair and forever ferment
If only one decision was made
Oblivion’s gift in a grave
