Livid pt. 2
Body seizes the vile energy
Wraps chains and twists tight wire
Pulls with power and encased
Drags emotion through rancid mire
Straighten limbs and tighten sinew
Grimace draws blood from teeth
Eyes darken from hazel to paste
When done, a wreckage I bequeath
Drive down with legs in a rush
Arms harden and poise for a strike
Step rumbles the space in debris
Pain’s warning descends ghostlike
Reason retreats with pitying squeal
Knuckles crush into stone’s scorn
Fists repeat wearing horror’s glove
Sensation altered from the norm
The body steals away from reality
Arms pulls back with ready stance
Forward dash with shoulder lead
Charge with roar in fury’s trance
Impact draws out breath and beat
Yet terror is not yet abated
Sliding down on painted wall
Anger still climbs on will deflated
Anguish tries in vain to reignite
As volcanic tears erupt burning off
Frustration denied and wanting more
This body sits as an empty trough
