Experience contains everything we glean
A shift in knowledge I stumble on
Expected walks away and does depart
Speechless and numb with not to say
Squeezed, hot, humming is my heart
Words defeated by descriptions loss
Thoughts wrung by the unexpected
Exquisite, lovely, beauty, each a word
Phrases and verse quiver unprotected
A challenge posed, won by surrender
Grammar kneels and gives up its gold
Artistry and craft become just practice
Reality reworked and wrought by her mold
